BIO / DANIELA RODRIGUEZ

Daniela Rodriguez is a Chilean-Australian artist and researcher whose practice explores how photography can engage with ideas of memory, identity, and belonging.

Her work is shaped by an ongoing inquiry into cultural memory and the experiences of diaspora.

Rodriguez draws on lived experience and collaborative processes to explore how photography can create spaces of connection, care, and reflection. Her projects often weave together portraiture, still life, and moving image to reimagine how personal and collective histories are seen and felt.

Rodriguez holds a Master of Photography from RMIT University. Her recent project, Echoes of Elsewhere: Navigating Belonging in Distant Lands, examines intergenerational memory within the Chilean and Latin American diaspora in Australia, contributing to contemporary dialogues on visibility and post colonial identity.
